The highly anticipated Ghana Mining Expo 2023, held from July 13 to 15, successfully concluded in Takoradi, Western Region. The three-day event, centred around the theme “Sustainable mining resources development and well-being in mining communities,” brought together industry experts, government officials, and key stakeholders to discuss the future of mining in Ghana.

Representing H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana, the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor, delivered a remarkable keynote address, emphasising the government’s commitment to fostering sustainable mining practises.
One of the highlights of the expo was the issuance of a Commemorative Gold Coin, symbolising the rich mining heritage of Ghana. This exclusive memento served as a testament to the country’s profound contribution to the global mining industry.
Networking opportunities played a pivotal role in connecting industry professionals and fostering collaborations. Participants had the chance to engage with sponsors, explore innovative technologies, and exchange ideas on best practises in mining.
The expo floor was adorned with sponsors’ paraphernalia, showcasing the latest advancements in mining equipment, technologies, and services. Exhibitors presented cutting-edge solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability.
Adding an element of luxury to the event, the organisers arranged a spectacular 24k gold dinner experience. Attendees savoured a memorable evening, indulging in fine dining while celebrating the industry’s achievements.
